Rev Paul Sampson appointed as Senior Minister

Dear All Saints members,

As many of you heard in church on Sunday, it is with great thanks and praise to our Lord that we can share with you the news that Rev Paul Sampson has accepted Archbishop Glenn Davies’ offer to become Senior Minister of All Saints North Epping.

Paul will likely start in his new role in early July and is looking forward to ministering with us all.

Paul has served for the last six and a half years with CMS Australia in Nairobi, Kenya, most recently as Director of Academic Affairs and Vice Principal at Carlile Bible College.

Prior to joining CMS, Paul ministered in Sydney for 14 years at five different churches and at University of NSW. He spent four and a half years as rector of Sylvania Anglican Church.  He has a Bachelor of Divinity and Diploma in Ministry from Moore College and has almost completed a Masters in Theology at Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology.

Paul is married to Cathy, who is a music teacher and most recently taught music at West Nairobi Christian School and worked with women and children in Kibera slum in Nairobi. Cathy has also led the music at Katoomba conventions and at Equip Women conferences a number of times over the years.

Paul and Cathy have three teenage children – Marsden, Anastasia, and Geneva.  A recent family photo is attached.

Please pray for Paul, Cathy and their children as they prepare to move to North Epping and as Paul prepares to begin working at All Saints. Please also pray for Dougal, Greg, Leigh and Tim as they continue to faithfully serve God and minister to us all during this time.

Yours in Christ,

Wardens – Rob Rintoul, Colin Rijke and Iain McDonald

Nominators – Graham Boyd, Michael Burke, Buff Sietsma, Scott Warner and Louise Wood
